The colours of the sky were amazing this morning. I was out early to go out for one last breakfast with one of my dear friends in Turner Valley. Then back to pack a few final things, say a few final goodbyes and then head off to the airport.
I’m really thankful for the last few weeks in Turner Valley: time spent with old (and new) friends, talking lots of Bible and missions talk, going to country markets, enjoying the beautiful Rocky Mountains (by hiking in them AND just seeing them each and every day!), lots of opportunities to share and teach about the Thai-yai and “life in the frontiers,” time to go for walks or runs, time to help out around the YWAM base, time to encourage others to get involved in seeing the Kingdom of God expand among the Thai-yai… I’m so glad I had decided to spend a bit of time there whilst back in Canada. But so long for another few years!
I am now in Three Hills staying with a friend from London who’s been studying at Prairie Bible Institute for the last several years. Great to hang out with her tonight and a bit tomorrow!
And then tomorrow, I drive up to Camrose!
So I might be gone from Turner Valley but not from Alberta just yet. 🙂
